It is common as we age, for the repetitive movement of the facial muscles, along with the natural forces of gravity, to cause unwanted wrinkles and skin folds to develop on the face. When Botox^® is injected into specific areas on the face, it blocks the signals to those specific muscles, resulting in limited movement of those muscles.
